Evolution
The Division of Textiles and Apparel's 2007 annual fashion show, "Evolution", was presented on April 20, 2007, in the Frank Erwin Center. Fifty senior apparel design majors presented collections of evening wear, daywear, and bridal gowns in an event the Austin American Statesman calls "the largest, most well attended fashion show of its kind in the Southwest."
Organized by the University Fashion Group under faculty guidance, and funded by the University Co-op, the show provides students an invaluable opportunity to actualize a large, formal fashion show in a manner standard to the fashion industry.
