   Mrs. Steinman teaches Introductory Nutrition (NTR 311) a large undergraduate course taken by non-science majors (communications, education, business administration, engineering, liberal arts, fine arts) as well as science majors (nutrition, nursing, pharmacy, natural sciences) and Introductory Food Science (NTR 307) a lower division course.
In her role as a Registered Dietitian (R.D.), Mrs. Steinman has acted as a nutrition consultant for private health clinics. She is interested in obesity and breast cancer, phytochemicals in food, menopause and osteoperosis.
