The Coordinated Program in Dietetics at the University of Texas at Austin prepares students for exciting careers in clinical, community and administrative dietetics. Graduates take jobs with health care facilities, businesses, public health agencies, educational institutions and private consulting firms. Supervised clinical practice is a major part of the undergraduate curriculum. Consequently, the program is designed for students who learn well when the academic and practice phases of their education are integrated. Entrance into the program is competitive. To excel, one must be able to mature both academically and professionally at an accelerated rate. The Coordinated Program in Dietetics is currently granted accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Dietetics Education of the American Dietetic Association, 120 S. Riverside Plaza, Suite 2000, Chicago, IL 60606, 312/899-0040.
