Mosaic wows Erwin Center
The Division of Textiles and Apparel's 2006 spring fashion show, "Mosaic", opened to a packed audience on April 21, 2006, in the Frank Erwin Center. Thirty-two senior apparel design majors presented collections of evening wear, daywear, and bridal gowns in an event the Austin American Statesman calls "the largest, most well attended fashion show of its kind in the Southwest."
Organized by the University Fashion Group under faculty guidance, and funded by the University Co-op, the show provides students an invaluable opportunity to actualize a large, formal fashion show in a manner standard to the fashion industry.
