    All prospective undergraduate and graduate students must first apply to for Admission to the University of Texas before applying to specific programs in your major area of interest.

    Undergraduate students can find helpful online information by clicking on the Admissions link. In addition, please check out the webpages for our three divisional programs - Human Development and Family Sciences, Nutritional Sciences and Textiles and Apparel - for information about their specific requirements. In addition, all undergraduate students in Human Ecology must contact the Advising Center prior to registration.

    Graduate students must first apply to the University of Texas Graduate School, before application to specific programs by going to the Graduate Admissions site.     International students, both undergraduate and graduate should first contact the International Office for information on application to the University of Texas at Austin. They will then assist you with applications to the various programs.
