Fall Event 2007

The Department of Human Ecology proudly sponsored the Third Annual Fall Event, Entrepreneurial Women of Human Ecology: Their Accomplishments Change Lives. This year's event highlighted the outstanding work of three alumnae from the divisions in Human Ecology - Human Development and Family Sciences, Nutritional Sciences, and Textiles and Apparel. The featured panelists were Susan Auler, a founder of Fall Creek Vineyards; Kathy Gore, Co-Owner and Executive Vice-President of Gore Design Completions; and Rhonda Paver, Founder and Executive Director of Stepping Stone School. Speaking to our graduates, who returned to campus for the event, faculty, and department friends; these three outstanding graduates demonstrated the value of an education in Human Ecology, as well as the success it can bring when it is combined with an innovative, entrepreneurial spirit. We are proud of all of our graduates and the work they do to improve the lives of others.
